North Gabriel Christian Assembly was founded in 2002 by a group of families who have covenanted together to form a local assembly of Christians (see our Church Covenant). Our fellowship meets together on Sunday mornings at a facility in Cedar Park, Texas (north of Austin).
Believing that children are a blessing, and that God designed for families to worship together, we have “family-integrated” worship services, without a separate Sunday school or children’s church. Fathers are exhorted and equipped to lead their families in daily worship and to train their children in the way of the Lord.
Service Format: We begin with a greeting, call to worship, and prayer. Then Psalms are read before we sing several hymns together. Then the expositional sermon is preached. Next, we come to the Lord’s Table together, where all who have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sins and have been baptized are encouraged to take part. Then we sing a few more hymns followed by a time for men of the church to share with the body. Prayer requests are then shared, and the service concludes with corporate prayer. Afterwards, we all share a meal together and enjoy fellowship.
